1. What Legally.cy does
Legally.cy is designed to connect customers with an appropriate independent lawyer and provide technology for matching, intake, document coordination, communications and organised workflows within the platform. It does not act as an advocate, provide legal representation or exercise a participating lawyer's independent professional judgment. Platform access, automated information and service descriptions are not personalised legal advice.
2. Platform contract and professional engagement
Impactify LTD is the contracting party for the stated platform package. Any required legal-services engagement is a separate written agreement directly between you and the named independent advocate or law firm. We arrange and pay only the third-party work expressly included in your accepted package; the professional retains responsibility for its accepted legal assignment.
3. The lawyer's professional responsibility
The signing legal-services provider is responsible for the legal advice and services it agrees to provide, its independent professional judgment, competent staffing and supervision, conflict checks, professional confidentiality, legal deadlines, document preparation, filing and representation within its engagement. It is also responsible for its professional authorisation and required insurance. Use of Legally.cy's technology does not transfer those duties to the platform or make Legally.cy a partner in, or provider of, the lawyer's legal services. The legal effect of these arrangements depends on the actual services, conduct and applicable law; describing a party as independent does not itself prevent agency, joint responsibility or consumer-law liability where the law provides otherwise.
4. Liability for independent legal services
The independent advocate is responsible for its own regulated legal work and professional duties. Impactify LTD remains responsible for its own platform, matching, coordination and expressly accepted procurement obligations. This allocation does not exclude liability, refunds or remedies which applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
5. Platform information and technology
Matching suggestions, automated summaries, templates, workflow prompts and AI-assisted outputs are tools, not legal opinions, a certification of suitability or a guarantee of accuracy, completeness or availability. A participating lawyer must review any output it relies on for legal advice or client work. To the extent a valid exclusion is permitted by law, Legally.cy excludes liability for losses arising solely from independent professional services and for indirect or consequential business losses arising from platform use. This does not reduce mandatory consumer remedies or responsibility for the platform's own legally actionable failures.
6. Rights that cannot be excluded
Nothing in these terms excludes, limits or transfers liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, limited or transferred. This includes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; death or personal injury caused by negligence; obligations and remedies under mandatory consumer law; data-protection duties and rights, including compensation where applicable; and any other non-excludable responsibility for Legally.cy's own acts or omissions. You retain any right to complain to a competent authority or seek a remedy in a court. If a term is unenforceable, it is not binding to that extent; the remaining terms apply only where they can lawfully continue.
7. Professional standards and introductions
We are confident in the high professional standard we expect of participating lawyers and aim to connect clients with top-tier legal expertise relevant to their matter. This describes our quality ambition, not an independently audited ranking, professional certification or guarantee of a lawyer's conduct or a particular result. Before a live engagement, the provider's identity, practising status, relevant experience and suitability must be checked. You should review the named provider and engagement before deciding to proceed.
8. Fixed package prices and included work
Published prices describe the stated package scope, not an unlimited legal retainer. Your accepted order identifies Impactify LTD as the platform supplier, included deliverables, any authorised third-party provider budget, applicable VAT and the final total before payment. A professional separately accepts any regulated assignment. Additional work or official charges are purchased only through a separately accepted quote.
9. Changes, timings and outcomes
Additional lawyer work requires a separately agreed fixed scope and fee before it begins. A first-stage court, family or probate fee does not cover the whole case. Proposed included-work timeframes start after complete intake and acceptance and exclude authority, court and counterparty delays. No introduction, statement about professional standards, automation or fee arrangement guarantees a successful claim, approval, recovery, transaction or other outcome.
10. Confidentiality and personal information
The participating lawyer is responsible for the professional duties attached to its client relationship. Legally.cy remains responsible for the data-protection and security obligations applicable to its own processing and platform services. Use of the same platform does not automatically make all records legally privileged or establish identical data-controller roles. The actual roles, lawful processing, approved systems and access arrangements must be explained before confidential client information is collected.
11. Complaints and access to remedies
Complaints about legal advice, representation or a professional fee under the lawyer engagement should first be directed to the signing provider using its engagement terms. Complaints about platform functionality, platform charges or Legally.cy's own handling of personal information should be directed to the platform operator through the About us Contact us form or the contact route in your order. These routes do not remove mandatory rights, extend a legal deadline or prevent you from contacting a competent regulator or court.
13. Content ownership and AI reuse
AI/LLM training, fine-tuning and evaluation using our lawfully accessible original website material are permitted, including copies and processing reasonably necessary for those purposes. No separate written permission is required for that grant. We do not reserve text and data mining rights in that material. This permission does not authorise republication of protected passages, distribution of copied training datasets, cloning protected original design or producing infringing substitute website content. Outside permitted training, an applicable legal exception or express prior written permission, protected original text, graphics, branding, code, design expression and protected selection and arrangement must not be copied, duplicated, republished, translated, paraphrased, rewritten or adapted. Automated operators should read /bot-policy.txt and must stop uses that require permission they do not hold. Additional licensed reuse requires a separate written agreement and acceptance of its conditions. Mandatory exceptions remain unaffected. No ownership is claimed in general ideas, facts, generic layouts, methods or strategies. Third-party licences, personal-data rights, confidential records and access restrictions remain unaffected. This notice does not automatically bind every visitor, record assent or guarantee automated compliance.
Written scope and changes
Your accepted order identifies the supplier, deliverables, assumptions, total price, applicable VAT and excluded costs. Additional work starts only after you accept a separate written quote. Existing accepted engagements retain their agreed prices and terms. A website price change does not alter an existing contract.
Payment and delivery
Project work is funded in advance by the agreed stage; recurring work is billed monthly in advance. Third-party charges require your approval and are itemised separately. Delivery estimates start after acceptance, payment and complete information. If required information or payment is missing, we give notice and agree how affected work will be paused or rescheduled, subject to professional duties and applicable law.
Cancellation and unused advances
You may cancel future work by written notice. We account for work actually delivered and authorised non-recoverable third-party costs, and return the unused balance of any advance. Monthly services renew monthly with 30 days notice to end or reduce the service. We provide an agreed handover; cancellation does not remove accrued fees or statutory rights.
Consumer withdrawal
Where you contract as a consumer at a distance and a statutory withdrawal right applies, you have 14 days from contract conclusion to withdraw. Work during that period starts only on your express request. If you withdraw after requesting an early start, only the lawful proportionate charge for work delivered is payable. The right ends on full performance only with the required prior express consent and acknowledgment. Contact the supplier identified in your order to withdraw; no special wording is required. Mandatory consumer rights prevail.
Responsibility and remedies
We are responsible for our own contracted services. Independent professionals are responsible for their separately contracted work. Report an error promptly with the relevant reference so it can be investigated and corrected. No result, authority approval, tax saving, sale price or uninterrupted third-party service is guaranteed. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer and data-protection rights. These terms do not extend legal deadlines.
Professional fees and platform services
The accepted order identifies genuine platform deliverables and any included professional procurement budget. Impactify LTD receives the package payment and arranges and pays the expressly included providers. Professional fees are not shared as a percentage commission with a non-lawyer. Required professional engagement, independence and confidentiality remain with the named advocate.
Defined service limits
Unless a service page expressly includes more, a document service concerns one identified matter, one Cyprus-law document of up to 20 pages or 8,000 words and one consolidated revision requested within 14 days of delivery. A consultation concerns one matter for 30 minutes. Additional parties, documents, jurisdictions, negotiation rounds, appeals, urgent action and later procedural stages need a separately accepted quote. A review identifies issues in the supplied document; it is not a title investigation, audit or representation unless expressly included.
Booking and acceptance
Use the About us contact form to request the next step. The 30-minute lawyer consultation is separately scoped at €150 plus applicable VAT (€178.50 at 19%). A platform enquiry or package payment does not itself appoint an advocate; the required professional engagement is confirmed before regulated work begins.
Platform service and contracting party
We are a technology platform, not a law firm, authorised accounting practice or estate agency. You pay Impactify LTD for the stated platform package. We match you with suitable independent providers and arrange and purchase the third-party work expressly included in your accepted fixed-price scope. Regulated work is performed by the appropriately authorised professional under any required separate engagement.
What your payment buys
Your order states the platform work, included third-party work, any approved provider budget, applicable VAT and the fixed total before payment. We arrange and pay the included providers as stated in that order. Work or official charges expressly excluded from the accepted package are not purchased automatically and need a separately accepted quote. This is not an unlimited commitment to buy every service that may later become necessary.
Independent regulated professionals
An introduction or platform payment does not appoint a lawyer, authorised accountant or estate agent. Where required, the professional confirms identity, authority, represented client, conflicts, accepted assignment and the separate professional engagement before regulated work starts. Professional judgment and confidentiality remain with that provider. Our platform fee covers genuine technology, matching and coordination work; it is not a percentage of an advocate’s fee or payment for compromising professional independence.
